The Moon today

Moon in Capricorn · your 3rd house

The Moon is in your 3rd house today, so messages, short errands and quick chats fill more of the day than usual. Your mind tends to jump around, which helps with brainstorming and hurts with long reading.

  • catching up on messages
  • short local errands
  • calling a sibling

Today's sky for Scorpio

The sky is quiet today, with no exact aspects between the planets. Astrologers read such days as a chance to follow your own rhythm and finish what is already in motion.

Retrograde right now: Venus in Scorpio, your 1st house of self and style, Saturn in Aries, your 6th house of work and routines, Uranus in Gemini, your 8th house of intimacy and shared money and Neptune in Aries, your 6th house of work and routines. Astrologers read those areas as better for review than for new starts.

About the Scorpio horoscope

Seen from Scorpio, Sagittarius is the 2nd house of income, Aquarius the 4th house of home and family, Pisces the 5th house of romance and creativity, Taurus the 7th house of partnership and Leo the 10th house of career. Gemini, your 8th house, covers shared money and trust. A Moon in Pisces tends to soften the Scorpio mood, while a Moon in Leo points toward ambition and public life.

Pluto moves so slowly that its aspects stretch over weeks, which gives it a background role. Mars, the older ruler of Scorpio, is quicker, and its aspects tend to bring the more tangible days of drive or friction. When either one stations, the Scorpio reading marks it.

Scorpio is a fixed water sign, so slow planets in Taurus, Leo and Aquarius form oppositions and squares to your Sun and tend to color long stretches. The Sun passes through Scorpio from around October 23 to November 21.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does the Scorpio horoscope use Pluto or Mars?

Both. Pluto is the modern ruler and Mars the traditional one. Pluto's slow aspects describe long undercurrents, while Mars aspects tend to mark specific days of energy or tension.

What does the Moon in Taurus mean for Scorpio?

Taurus is your 7th solar house. When the Moon is there, roughly once a month, the Scorpio reading leans toward partners, loyalty and how much you let another person in.

Why does the Scorpio horoscope feel intense on some days?

Often because a square or opposition is exact, or the Moon is in your 8th house, Gemini. Astrologers read those days as charged. The reading describes the mood and leaves what you do with it to you.

Where can I find the Scorpio horoscope for the week?

The weekly view follows the Moon through your solar houses with dates and lists every aspect, lunation and station in those seven days.
