About the Sagittarius horoscope

For Sagittarius, Capricorn is the 2nd house of money, Pisces the 4th house of home, Aries the 5th house of romance and fun, Gemini the 7th house of partners and Virgo the 10th house of career. Leo, your 9th house, covers travel, study and big ideas. A Moon in Aries tends to make the Sagittarius day more spontaneous, while a Moon in Virgo points toward duties and reputation.

Jupiter spends about a year in each sign, so it sits in one of your solar houses for a long time and shows up in the reading when it forms an exact aspect. Jupiter also turns retrograde for about four months every year, a stretch astrologers read as a time to rethink plans for growth rather than overextend.

As a mutable fire sign, Sagittarius tends to notice slow planets in Gemini, Virgo and Pisces, which oppose or square your Sun. Sagittarius season itself lasts from around November 22 to December 21.
