Today's sky for Pisces

The sky is quiet today, with no exact aspects between the planets. Astrologers read such days as a chance to follow your own rhythm and finish what is already in motion.

Retrograde right now: Venus in Scorpio, your 9th house of travel and learning, Saturn in Aries, your 2nd house of money and possessions, Uranus in Gemini, your 4th house of home and family and Neptune in Aries, your 2nd house of money and possessions. Astrologers read those areas as better for review than for new starts.

About the Pisces horoscope

For Pisces, Aries is the 2nd house of money, Gemini the 4th house of home and family, Cancer the 5th house of romance and creativity, Virgo the 7th house of partners and Sagittarius the 10th house of career. Aquarius, your 12th house, covers rest and time alone. A Moon in Cancer often gives Pisces a warm, creative day, while a Moon in Aquarius tends to call for a quieter pace.

Neptune stays in one sign for about fourteen years, so its aspects form a slow background of imagination and blurred lines. Jupiter, the traditional ruler, changes sign about once a year and brings more noticeable days of optimism or excess. When either stations, the Pisces reading marks the house involved.

Pisces is a mutable water sign, so slow planets in Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius square or oppose your Sun. The Sun crosses Pisces from around February 19 to March 20.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does the Pisces horoscope use Neptune or Jupiter?

Both. Neptune is the modern ruler and moves very slowly, Jupiter the traditional ruler and moves faster. Jupiter's aspects are the ones you are more likely to notice on a specific day.

What does the Moon in Virgo mean for Pisces?

Virgo is the sign opposite Pisces and your 7th solar house. When the Moon passes through Virgo, the Pisces reading tends to turn to partners, practical help and fair give and take.

What is the 12th house in a Pisces horoscope?

Aquarius. It is the house of rest, retreat and what happens behind the scenes. When the Moon is in Aquarius, Pisces may feel more like recharging than socializing.

Is the Pisces horoscope today the same in every time zone?

Every sign's reading uses the date as it runs in US Eastern time, so everyone sees the same text. If the Moon changes sign that day, both houses are named, which also helps readers in other time zones.
